Presented by Rosamund Philpott with live sound by Hun Lynch this performance will attempt to bodyhack the performative histories of Claude Cahun and Marcel Moore by responding to their covert and defiant acts of queerness and political action. Responding to thoughts about creative companionship, intimacy, gender, mischief, nonsense, and resistance we will re-inhabit a private partnership through a public display. This performance will be informed by the works of Claude and Marcel as artists, their enduring creative partnership and Elizabeth Freeman’s propositions of Queer temporalities, erotohistoriography and temporal drag.

Doing in Rigorous Confusion

These Thursday evenings are a moment to touch base with your making and do in rigorous confusion*. Utilising performance as practice methodologies we will construct, improvise and perform for one another in an attempt to locate where we are and where to next... These sessions are a chance to check in both together and privately - what am I making? what do I want to make? how do I make with what I have? what does it mean? should I make sense of it? A facilitative session for practitioners who want to gather together in their creative practice, for a few hours, in the dark.
